FILA Adventures offers custom tailored, personalized safaris to individuals, couples, families and small groups wishing to witness and experience the very best wildlife and scenery of Northern Tanzania. Most of our safaris are led by our chief guide, Shaaban Lagwen, who has over 28 years experience and is widely regarded as one of the premier guides in Tanzania. Shaaban's expertise as a wildlife guide is only surpassed by his overwhelming desire to give his clients the experience of a lifetime -- a goal he has consistently achieved over the years. In fact, these are qualities shared by all FILA guides -- each has over 20 years experience, is a fluent English speaker and is considered to be at the top of his profession.

If it is your wish to experience the best of Tanzania and the Serengeti in the most luxurious style possible, FILA can custom plan the perfect safari for you. Or if you prefer to "rough it" and try tent camping, we can provision all manner of exciting and safe adventures that you will never forget. If you are a professional or amateur photographer, we can provide a customized vehicle with camera platforms on the roof and in the side doors.

All of our vehicles are Land Rovers or Land Cruisers, the most reliable vehicles in East Africa, and all are rigorously maintained and cared for. On all safaris we keep a spare vehicle at our base in Arusha, able to respond within several hours in the unlikely event of a vehicle problem. All vehicles carry comprehensive first aid kits, emergency water and rations, tool kits, spare parts, and a satellite phone as precaution in the unlikely event of an emergency.
